McPEAK, AUDREY (SIMONSON)

Audrey McPeak (Simonson) was born
1937 in Mullen, Nebraska to Carl
and June Simonson.

She graduated from Mullen High School in
1956. The following September she attended
college at Nebraska Wesleyan University in
Lincoln, Nebraska.

In 1960 she began teaching a rural school
in Arthur County. Audrey taught there for
eight years.

On January 17, 1964 Audrey married
Clarence Walz, an Arthur County rancher. A
year later Clarence died of a heart attack.

On August 16, 1967 George McPeak and
Audrey were married and made their home
in Arthur for five years.

Born to this couple were two girls. Kathy
on 1968 and Alicia on 1970.

Audrey also has two step children. Adah
Leu of Gillette, Wyoming and George
McPeak Jr. of Lewellen, Nebraska.

Audrey has lived in Mullen with Kathy and
Alicia since 1972.
