Mullen Auto Body Shop - 1987, Harold Moy owner


In July of 1976 construction of Mullen
Auto Body began by Harold H. Moy, owner
and founder. The building is located at 104 1/2
South Lincoln, built by Harold who hired
John C. Wright, Tom Prentice, and Dick
Edleman was contracted for the electrical
work.

The first customer was Tom Donahoe
August 25th approximately 30 days after
construction of the building began.

This business served people from Hooker,
Thomas, Lincoln, McPherson, Cherry,
Grant, Blaine, Custer, Arthur, Morrill and
Keith Counties. The customer served from
the furthest distance was from Illinois.

The most unusual job done, was repairing
a coffin for Harry Campbell that had been
damaged in transportation.

Basically Mullen Auto Body is a one man
operation, on several occasions Harold has
hired part time help, Pete Hale, Ed Hilder-
hoff and Jody Evans.

The business has been continuous since
founded.
