Dan and Marilyn Deibler were the parents
of six children all of whom graduated from
the Mullen Public Schools.

Pamela Sue Deibler was born
1950 at Alliance. She graduated from high
school with the Class of 1968, and from the
University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in 1972 with
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
She also earned a Master of Science Degree
in Education from Monmouth College at
West Longbranch, New Jersey. Pam married
Richard H. Hoffman of Holmdel, N.J. on
June 2, 1973. Pam taught second grade for
eight years in New Jersey and California
before becoming a Flight Attendant for
Western Airlines and now flies with Delta
Airlines. Richard is employed as Engineering
Manager of Intelligence-Network Software
Architecture for Pacific Bell at San Ramon,
CA. Pam and Richard have their home in
Danville, CA after previously living in Rum-
son, N.J.
Daniel Chester Deibler III was born in
Alliance on 1952. He graduat-
ed in the Class of 1970 and attended Chadron
State College for two years. He married
Lorraine Gail Curtis, daughter of Robert G.
and Shirley Renick Curtis, Whitman, on May
24, 1973. Dan and Lorraine are the parents
of Jennifer Marie born at North Platte on
1975 and Brent Joseph born
1977 at North Platte. The family lives at
Mullen where Dan ranches and with his
brother Douglas own and operate the Butch-
er Block, a custom meat processing and retail
meat business located one-half mile south of
Mullen. Lorraine is a licensed beautician and
is a clerk in the Mullen Post Office.

Scott William Deibler was born
1955 at Alliance, Ne. He graduated with
the class of 1973 and attended the Nebraska
Western Technical College at Sidney, Ne.
graduating with a degree in Automobile
Mechanics. Shortly after graduation he be-
gan his employment with the Burlington-
Northern Railroad. He married Linda Ann
Schilz, daughter of Robert (deceased) and
Irene Schilz of Sidney, on March 27, 1976.
Scott and Linda live in Alliance where Scott
is a Conductor for the Burlington-Northern.
Their children are Lucas William born
1979, Sarah Ann born
1982 and Shane Robert born
1985.

Christopher Bruce Deibler was born
1957 at Alliance, Ne. He graduated
with the class of 1975 and the University of
Nebraska, Lincoln, in 1986 with a Bachelor's
Degree of Science in Education. He teaches
Science, health and Physical Education at
Lefler Jr. High School in Lincoln and is also
the Head Coach of the Freshman Football
Program at Southeast High School in Lin-
coln.

Douglas G. Deibler was born 1960
at Mullen. He graduated from Mullen High
School in the Class of 1978 and attended
Chadron State College for three semesters.
He married Betty Ann Hardy, daughter of
Robert (deceased) and Jewel McLeod hardy,
Seneca, on August 1, 1981. Doug and Betty
are the parents of Andrea Marie born
1983 at Mullen and Anthony Ryan born
1986 in North Platte. A son, Michael
Jeffery, was born July 4, 1985 in North Platte
and passed away in Omaha July 7, 1985. He
is buried in the Hardy family plot in the
Seneca Cemetery. Doug and Betty live in
Mullen where Doug is involved in ranching
and with his older brother Dan, own and
operate the Butcher Block a custom process
ing and retail meat business located one-half
mile south of Mullen.

Gail Anne Deibler was born 1962
at Mullen. She graduated from the Mullen
Public Schools in the Class of 1980. Gail
attended Kearney State College and graduat-
ed from the Bryan Memorial Hospital School
of Nursing at Lincoln in June 1986. She is
employed as a Registered Nurse in the
Medical/Surgical Area of Bryan Memorial
Hospital in Lincoln.
