Julie Ann Pearson was born
1958 to Donald Robert and Marjorie Ann
(Reigle) Pearson, in the Pioneer Memorial
Hospital in Mullen. Her grandparents are
Fritz B. & Myrtle F. (Rector) Pearson and
Ray E. & Myrtle I. (Shefneer) Reigle, all of
Mullen.

She was baptized as an infant at the St.
Joseph Episcopal Church by Rev. Jack
Yamamoto with Wayne & Carrie Marshall
and Doris & Guy King as god-parents. She
was later confirmed in St. Joseph's.

Julie attended Mullen Public Schools,
except 1 year (1st Grade). While in school she
was very active in F.H.A. and Band, playing
the flute. She liked sports, especially volley-
ball.

Julie graduated from Mullen High School
in 1976. After graduation she worked at the
Pioneer Memorial Hospital, receiving her
Geriatric Aide Degree in 1977.

On February 26, 1977, Julie married (Stan-
ley) Mark Ewoldt in the St. Joseph Episcopal
church, with the ceremony performed by
Rev. Charles Morgan.

Mark was born 1956 to Stanley
and (Elsie) Arlene (Pearman) Ewoldt at
Stapleton, Ne. His grandparents are Cloyde
A(Eck), & Thelma (Little) Pearman of
Seneca, Ne. and the late Otto & Avis (Kime)
Ewoldt of Thedford, Ne. He attended many
schools but returned to Mullen his junior year
and graduated from Mullen High in 1975.

All three of their daughters were born in
the Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Mullen:

Nikki Rae born 1977, Traci Ann born
1979 and Jeri Lyn 1983.

Mark worked for the Cherry County Dept.
of Roads, at the Mullen Packing Plant and
in 1982 they moved to Lloyd Buchfinck &
Sons Ranch to work, and live.

Mark likes all sports and is involved in the
town team softball and basketball leagues
and is a member of the traveling teams.

Julie is a member of the Mullen Woman's
Service Club, plays softball and town team
volleyball. With her sister Linda, she is an
area volleyball official.
