Linda Lou Pearson was born
1959 at the Pioneer Memorial Hospital in
Mullen, Ne., to Donald Robert & Marjorie
Ann (Reigle) Pearson. Grandparents are Ray
E. & Myrtle I. (Shefneer) Reigle and Fritz B.
& Myrtle F. (Rector) Pearson all of Mullen,
Ne.

She was baptized as an infant at the St.
Joseph Episcopal Church by Rev. Jack
Yamamoto with Wayne & Carrie Marshall
and Doris & Guy King as godparents, and as
a young lady confirmed in the same church.

Linda attended the Mullen Schools, was a
Band Member, Cheerleader, participated in
volleyball and basketball and was a member
and officer of F.H.A., graduating in 1978.

She worked at the Pioneer Memorial
Hospital during her high school years, receiv-
ing her Geriatric Aide Degree in 1978 and
became a Care Staff Member, working until
August, 1980.

On June 30, 1979, Linda married Douglas
Glen Boyer at the St. Joseph Episcopal
Church, with Rev. Charles (Buck) Morgan
presiding at the ceremony.

Doug was born 1956 to Stanley
N. (Buck) Boyer & Kathleen (Kat) (Pear-
man) Boyer. His grandparents are Prunes &
Lena (Kerns) Pearman and Charlie & Nellie
Boyer.

Doug attended Mullen Schools graduating
in 1974, being active in sports, especially
Cross Country, basketball and track. After
Graduation, Doug worked Construction a
short time, then went to work for Cherry
County Road Dept. and is still working for
them.

Doug & Linda have three children: Brett
Douglas born 1981, Dessa Lou born
1983, both in the Pioneer Memorial Hospital
and Darci Lyn born 1986 in North Platte,
Ne.

They are active members of the Mullen
Assembly of God church.

Doug is active in the Mullen Fire Dept.,
and First Responder member of the Rescue
Unit and an Ambulance Driver.

Linda with her sister Julie has been an area
volleyball official for 8 years.

They both enjoy playing softball and gold
and the last few years have managed the
Mullen T-Ball League.
