Rev. and Mrs. James Runnels moved to
Mullen, Nebraska in the fall of 1938 and
moved to Ottawa, Kansas in the fall of 1941.
Dad was the Methodist Minister in Mullen
and then to Kansas. He went into the CCC's
as a Chaplain over the camps in Kansas. He
then moved to Basehor, Kansas in 1942 when
the CCC camps were discontinued. Dad died
in 1945 in Basehor, Kansas.
