Berniece, the third child of Clarence
(better known as Snip) and Bertha (Frasier)
Revere was born at her maternal grand-
parents home south west of Mullen, Nebras-
ka.

The first eleven years of her life Berniece
lived with her parents on the south prong of
the Middle Loup River about two miles north
of Hecla, Nebraska. Some of her happiest
childhood memories are of playing in the
river in the summertime and she and her
sister Mary riding to the barn on the empty
hayrack after their Dad had finished feeding
the hay to the cattle.

Berniece attended school one and one half
miles south of home the first six grades. Then
after moving to a ranch six miles south of
Mullen she finished her schooling in the
Mullen schools, graduating with the class of
1935.

After graduation she worked in various
homes until she married Wesley Teter on
June 19, 1945. The first five years of their
lives together were spent on the Pullman and
Wallie Farrar ranches.

In the fall of 1948 they purchased the Mills
place about ten miles southeast of Seneca,
Nebraska from Nat Warren and moved there
September of 1950.

The Teter's have two children a boy and
a girl. They were educated in the Thedford
schools except for the first years of Jim's
schooling, these were spent in a country
school about a mile south of their home.

Jim married Betty Kramer of Albion,
Nebraska. They live at Sutherland, Nebras-
ka, where Jim is employed as Diesel mechanic
at the Nebraska Truck Center in North
Platte, Nebraska and Betty is a Math
teacher.

Bonnie married John Dodds of Ainsworth,
Nebraska, where they are living. They have
two children, a boy, eight years old and a girl,
eleven. Wesley died of lung cancer on July 15,
1983.
