TOMPKINS, RONALD AND JANET (BRADLEY)

Michaela, Janet, Ronald and Christopher Tompkins summer 1986


Ronald Tompkins was born in Alliance,
Nebraska, 1946 to Glen and
Claudia Tompkins. The youth years were
spent in Mullen in a loving home with one
brother and one sister. Graduated from
Mullen High School in 1964 and later studied
at Radio Electronics Institute' in Omaha,
Nebraska. Worked at Army Ammunition
Plant in Grand Island, then an Electronic
Firm in Lincoln, Nebraska where after a
short engagement with Janet E. Bradley of
Brewster, Nebraska, we were married in
Mullen on September 6, 1970 and made our
home in Lincoln.

Janet Elaine was born 1947
daughter of Darwin and Maxine Bradley of
Brewster. After High School, Janet attended
Grand Island Business College and after
graduation there, worked in Dairy Land
Insurance in Lincoln till June of 1971. Janet
and Ron have two children, Christopher M.
born 1971 and Michaela E.
1976 in the Bryan Memorial Hospital,
Lincoln, Nebraska.

Our family hobbies range from crafts for
Janet to Music, sports, travel for the kids, and
camping and electronics for myself. Chris has
been awarded the highest rank in Boy Scouts,
The Eagle Scout Award, in the fall of 1986.
Michaela is now mastering the clarinet and
I am presently employed by the State of
Nebraska Department of Roads. Janet is now
involved with Camp Fire Girls in a leadership
role.
