Johnny's Ramblers - mid-50's L-R: Bob Morris,
Jerry Simpson, Jack Carlson, and Johnny Morris

The Johnny's Ramblers dance band began
in the fall of 1952 with five members. Louise
Eastwood, Paul Eastwood, Jack Carlson, Bob
Morris and John Morris.

Louise and Paul quit in the spring of 1953.
Jerry Simpson joined the band in the spring
of 1953.

Donald Macke and Donald Oliver played
with the band for a while.

The Ramblers played for many dances
which people enjoyed. They also played for
quite a few benefit dances for people who
were unfortunate.

The Ramblers last dance was June 14, 1958
with John Morris on the saxaphone. Bob
Morris with his guitar, Jerry Simpson at the
piano and Jack Carlson on the drums.

Many memories and friendships were
formed through the years.
